ABOUT ME
Ko Ahau

 

Tēnā koutou,

I am the Founding Director of Reo Rua Ltd., a Māori language, culture and education, training, and consultancy provider based in the Wairarapa-Wellington regions of Aotearoa New Zealand, guided by the vision “He Aotearoa Reo Rua e Puāwai ana” - a thriving intercultural nation.

With a foundation in education, professional development, curriculum design, and language teaching, I bring a broad and deep skill set to these services, motivated by a purpose to connect people through knowledge, language, and culture. As a passionate language and culture advocate, I have taught English, Te Reo Māori, Spanish, and Italian to learners of all ages, locally and internationally. For the past ten years, my work has focused strongly on adult and community education, where my mission continues to grow intercultural understanding through transformative education, training, and cultural support grounded in Te Ao Māori and multilingualism.
